General information
Presentation
Nowadays, there is a significant demand for chemists with knowledge of
artificial intelligence, data science, automation and cheminformatics. The CAMLC workshop aims to address this
demand and provide the new generations of chemists with the necessary
knowledge on these topics.
Description
In its third edition, this workshop combines the basics of machine learning, data science and cheminformatics with the most
relevant cutting-edge examples in these fields. The topics covered were especially
chosen for chemists aiming to learn about these subjects.
Target audience
This workshop is mainly aimed at computational and experimental MSc/PhD students, postdoctoral
researchers and university professors working on:
Fields
• Chemical machine learning or cheminformatics
• Computational chemistry
• Organic or inorganic chemistry
Research topics
• Homogeneous or finite systems
• Machine learning modeling and predictions
• Automation of quantum mechanics and machine learning workflows
• Catalyst and ligand design
• High-throughput experimentation
• Drug discovery
Participants are recommended to have basic knowledge of programming or experience with Linux.
Additionally, attendees must have a good command of English.
Course format
The program will be delivered in-person through content-based and hands-on sessions.
Workshop certificate
Attendees who fully participate and attend each session will receive a workshop certificate accredited by CSIC.
